The Belarusian embassy in Azerbaijan has protested over Jamil Hasanli’s statement.
Presidential candidate from the opposition National Council Jamil Hasanli said during the debates that the Azerbaijani side is delivering a loan to Belarus at a rate of one per cent. This statement is wrong, the embassy told Trend on Tuesday.
‘At present, the Belarusian government has no debt to the Azerbaijani government’, the statement said. ‘Relations between the economic entities of the two countries in the financial and credit sector are based solely on market principles.”
